John Beaulieu, N.D., Ph.D. is the founder of BioSonic Enterprises, Ltd., a company dedicated to tuning the world. He pioneered the use of tuning forks as sound healing instruments based on his research into sound and neurotransmitters. Dr. Beaulieu has been a practicing clinical therapist and professor for forty five years. He graduated from Purdue and Indiana Universities where he studied psychology and music, and went on to serve as a supervising therapist and researcher at Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital in New York City. He currently lectures as an Adjunct Professor of Integrative Medicine at CIIS University in San Francisco and teaches classes around the world on sound healing. Dr. Beaulieu is the author of Music and Sound In The Healing Arts, Human Tuning, The Polarity Therapy Workbook, Bellevue Memoirs, and numerous research articles and publications on the science of sound healing. He is the composer of six CD’s including Calendula and Apollo’s Lyre that use only tuning forks to re-pattern the mind and body.
Silvia Nakkach, MA, MMT is a Grammy® nominated composer, and a pioneer in the field of sound and consciousness transformation. She is a sought after educator, vocal artist, and author. Silvia is on the faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies where she created the premier certificate program on Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts offered by a major academic institution. She is also the founding director of the international Vox Mundi School of the Voice. For more than 30 years Silvia studied North Indian classical music under the direction of the late Maestro Ali Akbar Khan, and various masters of the Art of Dhrupad singing. She is the author of Free Your Voice (Sounds True). Silvia has released 15 CD-Albums, her music draws elements from contemporary avant-garde on one hand and ancient Indian ragas on the other creating a language of its own.
